The Science of Biomimicry

When plants face stressful conditions they begin to repair themselves with built in inflammatory systems. Plants use meristem tissue to heal. This type of tissues is able to work within in the plant to create cell division in order to replace damaged cells.

BIOMIMIC™ Red Correct Advanced works in a similar way whereby skin repairing occurs using a process call re-epithelization (generation of new cells).

How does my skin heal?

.The healing process is largely triggered by your genetics. Your genes are responsible for the down-regulation of genetic factors that determine the release of inflammatory products like α-TNF and cytokines (IL-6).

An oversupply of these inflammatory products can have a negative effect and create more inflammation. These same pathways can also help regulate your immune system. When you are often unwell, your skin’s inflammatory responses are also affected.

Ingredients in BIOMIMIC™ Red Correct Advanced such as Taurine and Zinc are designed to help boost skin immunity and provide extra protection against inflammatory proteins.
